Location Sound Terms of Service

These are the terms you can expect, in order to book me as a Key Audio Vendor or Production Sound Mixer (department head):

• All audio equipment needed for your production will be provided by me, unless otherwise discussed.

• My 10 hour day starts at your call time and ends once I've wrapped out of the location.

• But sometimes, things take a little longer than 10 hours. Overtime will be charged if hours worked exceeds 10 (1.5x past 10, 2x past 12).

• If no meal is provided on a shoot over 6 hours from call to wrap, a meal fee will be charged. 

• If cancelling a booking with less than a week's notice, 50% of labor fee will be charged. If cancelling with less than a day's notice, 100% of agreed labor and gear fee will be charged.

• Payment for my services is due upon invoice, with late fees assessed every 30 days for overdue balances.

• For most shows, I operate on a line-item equipment rental basis, NOT an all-in rental package. This means I quote you exactly what's needed for your show, including backups to all critical tools.

• For most shows, I require a Certificate of Insurance listing my company as Additional Insured and require the hiring company to accept full liability for loss & damage.
